PLATEFORME STUDIO is an architecture practice based in Lugano and Paris, founded in 2025 by Matteo Clerici, Ludovica Franchetti Pardo and Matteo Broggini.
The studio explores the intersections between architectural design, visual research and project culture, developing projects across different scales in both urban and rural contexts. Its work combines professional practice with a strong engagement in teaching and academic research, fostering a critical dialogue between architectural experimentation and built reality.

MATTEO BROGGINI graduated from USI – Accademia di architettura di Mendrisio. He began his professional career in Stockholm, at Tham & Videgård’s office, where he deepened a Nordic approach to architecture, focused on materiality, landscape, and light. Since 2020, he has been teaching at the Accademia alongside Manuel and Francisco Aires Mateus.
Based in Paris since 2017, where he lives and works, he has collaborated with several renowned offices, including Atelier Tsuyoshi Tane Architects and the practice of Cristiano Benzoni and Sophie Thuillier, participating in public and private projects in France and internationally.
MATTEO CLERICI has been practising as an architect since 2015. Graduated from USI – Accademia di architettura di Mendrisio in 2013, He has carried out works in Switzerland, Italy, and France, receiving awards and recognition at a national level. His work has been published in several journals, including Casabella, which in 2021 featured his project for a winery in Monforte d’Alba, Piedmont.
Alongside his professional practice, he collaborates with Francisco and Manuel Aires Mateus as a teaching assistant in the design studio at the Accademia di architettura di Mendrisio. He is also the initiator and member of the editorial board of 6850, the new journal of the intermediate body of the Accademia di architettura di Mendrisio.
LUDOVICA FRANCHETTI PARDO Graduated from USI – Accademia di architettura di Mendrisio, she enriched her education through significant professional experiences in Lisbon, with Francisco Aires Mateus, and in Seville, at Guillermo Vázquez Consuegra’s practice. She currently lives and works in Lugano, where she has collaborated with Itten+Brechbühl, gaining solid experience in complex projects at different scales.
In 2022, she founded PAPER.CUT studio, a workshop specialising in architectural visualisation, with a particular focus on the narrative dimension of the image and the relationship between architecture and representation. She is also active in teaching, as a design teacher at the interior architecture faculty at SUPSI and as an assistant for the Chair of Digital Representation at the Accademia di architettura di Mendrisio.
